Another 65 or so CDs to play, enjoy, argue about, and mull over have arrived.  This time around we have two Jacksons, two Waits, two Hancocks, and two Haydns, easy listening for the stressed out, music from both sides of the fence, and holiday music wrapped in lovely red and green.  You couldn't ask for more, but if you want to, please contact Jeff Wanser, wanserjc@hiram.edu  Jingle Bells.

Winter's Solstice VI: A Windham Hill Sampler.   Misc W734/6   We don't have 
     numbers I-V, but this compilation of New Age holiday music will do for now.

Joe Bushkin (1916-2004):  Jazz pianist and composer, he wrote hit songs for 
     Tommy Dorsey and Frank Sinatra. 
Cy Coleman (1929-2004):  Composer of Broadway musicals, including "Sweet 
     Charity" and "City of Angels."
Michel Colombier (1939-2004):  Film composer and music arranger, he scored 
     over 100 films, including "White Nights," & "Purple Rain."  
Terry Knight (1943-2004):  Rock singer and later manager for Grand Funk 
     Railroad, one of the most popular rock groups of the early 1970s.
Terry Melcher (1942-2004):  Son of Doris Day, member of the surf group the 
     Rip Chords, and producer for the Byrds and Paul Revere & the Raiders.
Old Dirty Bastard (1968-2004):  Rap artist and founding member of the Wu 
     Tang Clan. Funny how the newspapers won't spell out his name (ODB).
Frederick Prausnitz (1920-2004):  Conductor of the Peabody Symphony 
     Orchestra, the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra, and others.
Bill Reed (1936-2004):  Bass singer for the doo-wop group The Diamonds.
