A new issue of our newsletter appears on time, along with about 60 new titles for your listening pleasure.  This time we have plenty of pops, two Nellies, requests, obscurities, and a generous assortment of delightful music in all categories.  We have also continued to place a few colorful sheet music covers along the side wall, courtesy of the Indiana University Sheet Music Collection.  As usual, comments and suggestions should be sent to Jeff Wanser, wanserjc@hiram.edu

Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival:  June in Manchester, Tennessee brings rock, 
     folk, country, and lots of other kinds of music together for a giant 3-day festival.
Goldberg: The Early Music Portal:  They want you to subscribe to the 
      magazine, but you can see free news, concert schedules and other information.
IMN: International Music Network:  Actually a booking agency for jazz and  
     world musicians, this site also provides news, concert schedules and biographies.
Montreux Jazz Festival:  Some of us will simply daydream about going to France
     in July for this festival, others might make it there.  
New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival:  We have a less remote chance of 
     getting to this one, but isn't there something closer?
Philadelphia Folk Festival:  That's better, but the timing's bad.

John Raitt (1917-2005):  Singer and actor on Broadway and in Hollywood, 
     whose credits included Carousel and Oklahoma!  Bonnie's dad. 
Jimmy Smith (1928-2005):  Famed jazz organist.
Sammie Smith (1943-2005):  Country singer, most prominent in the 1970s, who 
     made "Help Me Make It Through the Night" a big hit.  
Marcello Viotti (1955-2005):  Prominent conductor, most recently of La Fenice,
