A Fistful of Music

Music Newsletter for the Hiram College Library Community

February 2007

February may be the shortest month, but this is far from the shortest newsletter we've had.  We've got more music than you would ever think of listening to, including Beethoven, Brahms, and Boris, Akron folks, throat music, big bands, small bands, and blues and more blues.  This month, we have started linking to YouTube videos, so tell us if you like the new feature (or if you don't).  We've also set things up so that you can peruse the local music we've been buying.  All you have to do is search Northeast Ohio Music Initiative in the catalog, and more than 100 items will show up.  The Bauman CD Collection continues to grow, with more than 160 items as of this issue.  We'll catalog more of both for next time.  We will try to fill requests, but we're starting to run out of budget for the moment.  Any comments, questions or demands can be sent to Jeff Wanser, wanserjc@hiram.edu.
