Making A Hiram Memory

Whether you are a recent alumnus or a more experienced one, your thoughts and memories of your time at Hiram and its long term effects on your life are important to us.  Please, try and answer as many of the following questions as you can and tell us how Hiram changed you and how you feel you may have changed Hiram.

Your responses will be part of a permanent record [yes, the dreaded “permanent record”] that will be kept in the Hiram College Archives.  You will have three options for how you would like this stored.

  1. Complete and immediate open access – available to all researchers
  2. No access for 20 years
  3. No access during your lifetime

If there is no indication given of restrictions the Archives will assume that the information will be fully accessible to researchers now.

The goal behind a collection of alumni answers is for researchers to receive a better and more complete picture of the student’s view of Hiram.  There is no deadline and there are no points deducted for neatness, spelling, or grammar; whatever questions you answer and however you answer them are your privilege and will prove helpful.  If you feel like answering only a few now and waiting a few years to answer more we will simply add your responses as you make them available.

When you have completed the survey, or answered as much as you wish to at this time, you may return it to the Archivist either electronically to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or mail it to:
