Connecting from Off Campus

Gaining access to Hiram's resources from off campus is a little different than when you are on campus. When you are off campus you need to use your Hiram username (not your full email address) and password to access these materials.

If you need help remembering your Hiram username/password see Hiram's self service password manager.

You can confirm that you are accessing Hiram College Library resources and need to enter a Hiram username/password when you see the following screen. If you are attempting to access a resource and have a different screen please see Issues with Database Access.

If you need help finding resources, then see the Find Articles or Find Journals, Newspapers, & Magazines pages for more information or contact a librarian at

This is the OhioLinks Off Campus Access Screen

You may see the above log in screen when you attempt to connect to a index/database directly from the website, or through the OneSource search. Remember that the username/password is the same as what you use to connect to campus computers.
