Faculty and Staff Resources

Librarians will be happy to speak with your class on how to find and use library resources.  Most of these sessions take place in the McDowell Instruction Room on the third floor of the library.  To set up a session, contact the library director (Janet Vogel) or library@hiram.edu. To ensure successful library sessions, especially for first year classes, please:

• Allow at least one week so that librarians can prepare. (Feel free to schedule before the semester begins!)
• Provide a copy of the assignment and your syllabus to ensure that librarians understand the assignment. 
• Plan to attend yourself so that you may answer specific questions about the assignment and encourage student participation.
