Kanopy KBASE Collection (New!)
KBASE, from Kanopy, provides unlimited access to over 10,000 streaming films, including documentaries and feature films from PBS, A&E, The History Channel, Kino Lorber, and more. There are no viewing limits or fees, and many titles include public screening rights. If a film you need isn’t available, you can request that it be added by emailing library@hiram.edu
Alexander Street Video
A streaming video platform with thousands of educational videos, with a strong focus on documentaries. The collection includes content from Bullfrog Films, Icarus Films, BBC, Filmakers Library, and Sony Pictures Classics. Please preview thoughtfully: once any video is viewed four times for 30 seconds or more, the library is charged for a one-year license to that video.
SAGE Video Counseling & Psychotherapy Collection
Over 480 streaming videos on counseling theory, approaches, skills, client populations, research methods, and professional issues. Includes real-life demonstrations and expert insights—ideal for Psychology, Education, and Social Work.

Swank - Swank provides access to popular feature films for educational use. Faculty can place direct links to Swank films in Moodle for their students to view. To see what we already have, start with the Hiram Swank Portal. You’ll need to create an account to browse our licensed content. If you don’t see the film you’re looking for, you can search the full Swank catalog and request it by emailing us at library@hiram.edu. If you plan to watch on an iPad, you’ll need to download the Swank app.
