Book Discussion Instructions

February Book Discussion Selection:

Join us on Thursday, February 15 at 2 pm in the Library Lower Level to discuss this graphic novel adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice!

There are a few ways you can access the book to read for the event: 

  1. We have a copy in the collection at Hiram College Library you can borrow. You can find the link for it here:

  2. You can order a copy through OhioLink or SearchOhio. Please ask for help at the library circulation desk if you don’t know how. You can find the links for these here: or

  3. If you have a public library card with access to Hoopla, you can use the steps below for accessing it. If not, as a resident/student in Ohio you can get a digital library card through Akron-Summit County Public Library and access it. If you have any questions about library card access email us at:

Steps to get Akron-Summit County Public Library Card: 

  1. Use this link and fill out all the information under the library card application at the bottom of the page. 

  1. You will receive a text/email with your library card number and PIN. 

Steps to use Hoopla: 

  1. Use this link to access the eBook in the Hoopla catalog 

  1. Click on sign up and it will ask for your library card number and PIN along with an email. 

  1. After submitting your information, it will ask to identify your library. Type “Akron-Summit County Public Library” and choose that as your library. Or if you have another local library card enter their name here and select it. 

  1. It will prompt you to download the Hoopla app.  

  1. After logging into your account click borrow on Pride and Prejudice and then enjoy reading!
